This might be a Mazda-specific implementation rather than a tool limitation, but it highlights the importance of understanding vehicle-specific diagnostic capabilities. I regret not having had the opportunity to test the Mazda with the Verus (another Snap-on tool I briefly used and was impressed with, particularly its software) to compare.
