VCDS 18.9.1: Guide to Opening and Closing Rear Electronic Parking Brakes

Caution! Do not attempt these procedures with disassembled brakes. Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) operations should only be performed with pads and calipers correctly installed. Follow these instructions precisely. Skipping steps may lead to unresolved issues. A full Auto-Scan with Vcds 18.9.1 is recommended to identify pre-existing faults before starting.
