The Atmega162 cable, priced at $29, was misrepresented as a V2. Upon inspection, it was revealed to be a HEX-CAN cable, an older generation.
This cable’s loader was flagged as malicious by VirusTotal. Interestingly, the genuine Ross-Tech HEX-CAN cable also employs the Atmega162 chip. However, the questionable loader and potential security risks associated with this Aliexpress version make it a less desirable option.
