Access CAN Gateway: Connect your VCDS cable and access module 19 – CAN Gateway.

Open Adaptation: Navigate to Adaptation – 10.

Adjust Minimum Temperature: In the drop-down channel list, select (1) – Start/Stopp Auntemperaturvorgabe – Minimaltemperatur. Change the New value to 50 (default is -50.0). Click Do it! and then Add to Log to save the change.

Some Golf R models might have an Acc/Start Auth. control module (address 05, HW: 5Q0-959-435). This module features a single adaptation channel: Deactivation of start-stop function. While the default setting is typically “not active”, attempting to activate it to disable Start/Stop has been reported as unsuccessful in some cases.
